CoCo Hall attended the San Francisco Art Institute and graduated from Bennington College in Vermont. Her romance with the desert began in Big Bend, TX, and continued with a 27 day primitive backpack in Utah, a camel trek in the Sahara of southern Algeria, and finally culminating in a move to Joshua Tree.
Hall founded The Vegimals, a cottage industry in Vermont that produced her line of zippered and velcro’d vegetables and animals. Her zippered Peas In A Pod were featured in Toy Story 3. The company’s baseball hats with horns and wings took off with international sales. Coco and her toys and hats were featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, People Magazine, The New York Times, The SF Chronicle and 100s of newspapers and magazines across the country.
Currently, Hall is painting wild animal portraits in acrylic and watercolor, making collage postcards, constructing 3D wall pieces of papier-mache, and occasionally sewing interactive toys.
