Clay Artist Ed Keesling of Keesling Clayworks is based in Yucca Valley, California.

Much of his work is hi fired to cone 11 in a propane gas kiln, to achieve the optimum marriage of clay and glaze. Keesling also creates coil sculpture and pottery using the “Wedged Coil” process.

Currently he is a member of the Twentynine Palms Artist Guild board, head of the Education committee, and a member of the California Art Project, Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council.

Keesling received his Masters from the University of Visual Arts Center in Columbia, Maryland.
