Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and a professional photographer for over twenty years, Vera has focused her lens on the people and landscapes of the desert.

She has been influenced by the desert in her choice of framing materials for her photographs....aged corrugated metal, rusted tin cans, dead branches, cholla skeletons, old bolts, stones. barbed wire, rusted metal stars.... Vera especially loves to photograph people who love each other, doing portraits outdoors for families, friends, and couples in beautiful natural settings, in gorgeous light whenever possible. Vera is available for portraits and weddings.
