Since 1979 sculptor Steven L. Rieman has lived and operated his studio in Yucca Valley, California. His work asks questions about the balance between advancing technology and the preservation of the natural environment. Many of his works are kinetic, activated by the wind. Rieman is a graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
