Ray Yeager has lived in Yucca Valley for over ten years and has exhibited his digital images in various Morongo Valley and Palm Springs galleries over the east six years.
Yeager has a strong interest in the group of avant-garde artists that created Dadaism. This art movement that flourished in Europe from about 1916 to 1923 developed new ways to make art, changing the way artists think. One method they originated was called Photomontage, the art of pasting parts of photographs together to create absurd and at times troubling images.
Digital photography and Photoshop has brought this art form to the forefront once again creating unlimited possibilities. He has strived to incorporate at bit of whimsy and mystery into his images which include digital abstraction.
